Although the university does not directly mention providing scholarships, the Republic of Turkey does offer financial assistance to international students.
CoHE Scholarship for International Students
This scholarship is aimed at international students enrolling in undergraduate and graduate programs from countries that are recognized by the Council of Higher Education in Turkey.
Although international students enrolling in English-taught courses do not need to provide any additional documentation, students enrolling in Turkish courses need to possess a Turkish Proficiency Certificate. In case they do not have one, a one-year language preparatory course is offered to them.
These scholarships differ from normal conventional scholarships offered to international students. Turkiye scholarships ensure that students partake in social and cultural activities during their stay in Turkey whilst focusing on their academic education.
As a result of this, the Turkiye scholarship covers all accommodation costs and gives students health insurance cover during their course.
