Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University (AFMKU) is a non-public educational institution developing a rich educational culture since 2000. AFMKU is established in the second-largest city in Poland, Krakow. The city owns an academically rich tradition, going back 600 years.

  • Very rigorous and fit training is given to students. Over 1,200 hours within the program period are being devoted to practicals, which means, students are in direct contact with medical patients.
  • 600 hours in total are required for clerkships i.e. students have to devote 4 weeks after each year of study.
  • In the 6th year, students are being scheduled for clinical training for 30 weeks.

Entry requirements for Medicine in English

  • Results of the secondary school-leaving exam with at least three subjects out of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics
  • Documented command of English at B2 level
  • The secondary school-leaving exam result (minimum 30%)

The documented command of English includes:

  • 60% or more at the advanced or bilingual level secondary school-leaving exam
  • a good grade (4.0) or higher for the written part of  the advanced  English teaching program
  • 4 points or more in IB (International Baccalaureate) exam in English at the Higher Level (HL)
