Campus & Accommodation
High Point University is located in High Point, North Carolina, on a 430-acre campus about 30 minutes from both Winston-Salem and Greensboro. The Slane Student Center is a hub of student activity on campus, housing fitness and recreation facilities, a climbing wall, a food court, an outdoor swimming pool, sand volleyball courts, and an atrium with billiard tables and seating areas.
Students can participate in a variety of clubs and organizations on campus, including an active Greek community with approximately 15 fraternity and sorority chapters. The Panthers compete in the NCAA Division I Big South Conference and have nearly 15 varsity teams. Popular intramural sports include beach volleyball, kickball, and flag football. All students, except for seniors, are required to live on campus.
The University of High Point provides 9 residence halls to all the students living on the campus. And students must live on campus until the student is in their senior years by university residence policies. For both upperclassmen and incoming first-year students, High Point University provides a variety of housing options ranging from apartment-style single rooms to double occupancy shared facilities.
