Scholarships for international students at Hollins

International students are taken into consideration for merit-based and need based-scholarships at the time of their application submission. The university provides 29 million USD in financial aid and scholarships to its students every year.

Most of the domestic and international students live on campus at one of the 10 residence halls that the university has. First-year students are generally given a place at the Tinker hall. Most international students choose to live at Carvin after their first year, also referred to as the “Global Village”.

Most international students work on campus at the library and the university dining hall. Students can also work off-campus without any special authorization from the US government. However, the work hours are limited to 20 hours per week. This can go up to 40 hours per week during breaks.
