On the campus of Northeastern University, apart from the workplace and classroom, 400 clubs and organizations are there for students which include 30 sororities and fraternities. Scholarships for international students
In Northeastern University, international students are only eligible for merit-based scholarships and not for financial aid and grants.
Merit-based scholarships
The range of merit scholarships is 10,000 USD to 28,000 USD per year. No additional application is required as an application for admission is considered as an application for a scholarship for international students. Though, the competition for merit-based scholarships is high. However, they don’t satisfy the total cost of attendance.
RaiseMe
Northeastern University has partnered with RaiseMe to offer high school students of the U.S to earn micro-scholarships to compensate for their excellent accomplishments and academic achievements. Students are provided to earn up to approx 20,000 USD via micro-scholarships each year, which will be provided by Northeastern University as their financial aid award.
Eligibility for these scholarships is determined during the process of admission to Northeastern University. However, completion and submission of the RaiseMe portfolio by November 1 is a must.
Northeastern national scholarship
Students who are recognized as National Recognition Program Scholars and National Merit Finalists and have been admitted to Northeastern University will be honored by a merit-based award.
