Saratov State Agrarian University is a non-public higher education institution established in 1913. It is officially recognized by the Ministry of Science of the Russian federation.

The university is ranked among the top 100 universities in Russia and ranked as the second-best university for agricultural universities, the university is also a member of the European Association of Agricultural universities. 

The university has 12 faculties (three of which are extramural), two branches (in Balashov, Saratov area, and Astrakhan), a natural science boarding school, postgraduate and doctorate studies, three libraries, and a publishing house.

Admission process for international students

• Confirmation of an applicant’s financial stability that is
