Study Group’s Projects
Girls in Ghana – Their current project aims to improve the quality and accessibility of education for girls in rural Ghana. The primary goal of the project is to combat negative attitudes toward girls’ education as well as girls on the verge of dropping out.
Disaster management for Schools in Bangladesh – In Bangladesh, annual flooding closes schools for months at a time, disrupting the education of thousands of students. Eight schools benefited from this project, which enhanced infrastructure, safety, and educational access.
Rebuilding schools in Nepal – Following the severe disasters in Nepal in 2015, Building Futures’ eleventh project focused on reopening schools and restoring education for girls and boys. The Study Group raised the £220,000 required to build and equip the new school in Nepal’s Sindhupalchowk District.
New Primary school in Sri Lanka -The civil war had decimated Sri Lanka’s infrastructure, and 400 children in the Anuradhapura district needed a new elementary school. Their project entailed the construction of a new elementary school in Anuradhapura, a city in northern Sri Lanka. This immediately aided 400 children in receiving a good education.

Scholarships at Study Group
Study Group is collaborating with colleges across the country to help students realize their aspirations of studying in the United States.
It’s true that attending university in the United States can be costly. However, it’s worth noting that institutions in the United States frequently provide all-inclusive pricing estimates. Tuition, student fees, transit passes, insurance, accommodation, meal plans, and even predicted personal expenses are all included in the projected price. Study Group includes these charges in their total spending to provide a more accurate portrayal and make budgeting easier. As a result, the initial price shock may not be as distressing as it once appeared.
Study Group has partnered with universities across the country to provide English language assistance to international students. There are presently seven partner institutions in America to choose from, ensuring that there is a university to fit every kind of student.
Study Group is offering a variety of financial aid opportunities to help students realize their aspirations of studying in the United States. The first is a $1,000 Early Payment Bursary for any undergraduate first-year student who pays all associated fees by November 1st, 2013. This cost will be automatically deducted from the invoice for eligible students. Please note that this offer cannot be paired with any other International Study Center discount, bursary, or scholarship.
The second financial bursary is a $5,000 scholarship available to students at Roosevelt University, Widener University, James Madison University (JMU), and the University of Maine (UMaine). Contact the North America Brand Specialist for more information on students who may be eligible for this scholarship.
Finally, Study Group will grant a renewable scholarship for international students who enroll in the UVM Global Gateway Program (GGP) for a January, May, or September 2014 start date, in collaboration with the University of Vermont (UVM). Through interviews, high school grades, and English language level, The Study Group will decide both the scholarship amount and student eligibility for enrollment. The scholarship will be renewed each year after that, based on the preceding year’s Grade Point Average (GPA). 10,000 USD will be awarded for a cumulative GPA of 3.5-4.0; 8,000 USD for a cumulative GGP GPA of 3.0-3.4; and 4,000 USD for a cumulative GGP GPA of 2.75-2.9.
Study Group believes that by making these financial aid offers, international students will be able to afford higher education.
