A decree was signed by the Ministry of Education, research, and university for the establishment of UniCamillus- Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences on 28th November 2017. Later on, it was registered at the Court of Auditors on the 4th of January in 2018. Italian National University Council (CUN) granted approval to UniCamillus on June 20th, 2017, and on September 5th, 2017, the university received accreditation from the Italian National Agency for Evaluation for University and Research (ANVUR).
The university is extremely dedicated towards health and medical sciences and therefore is also listed midst the World Directory of Medical Schools, the joint venture between FAIMER (the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research) and WFME (the World Federation for Medical Education), the World Directory of Medical Schools.

Scholarships for international students
UniCamillus grants several loans to non- EU students who are financially not very stable and are motivated and deserving. Once the student has been involved in professional activity in their country of origin for a suitable period, the loans are fully remitted.
Scholarships / Loan of Honor –
The Promoter of UniCamillus, Foundation Progetto Salute, grants numerous scholarships which fully or partially, cover tuition fees. They are intended for deserving and motivated NON-EU students who are in financial need. The “loan” will be considered redeemed in case the student comes back (after receiving the degree) to their respective country which is chosen in accordance by the university, to work for a minimum of 3 years.
The scholarship will be awarded by taking the account of ranking received on the admission test.
