UMSL’s campus is spread across 470 acres in suburban St. Louis County with a blend of modern and historic academic buildings. The campus houses the St Louis Mercantile Labor Library, the oldest library in the USA west of the Mississippi, dating to 1846.

Scholarships for International students

All international applicants will automatically be considered for competitive scholarships, with awards ranging up to $14,000 per year for undergraduate applicants and $6,000 per year for graduate applicants. Preference is given to students admitted on or before February 15 for the fall semester and August 15 for the spring semester.

On-campus housing is open to undergraduates and graduate students through our Office of Residential Life. On-campus options include:

  2. The Triton Summer Scholarship: The University of Missouri-St. Louis offers a Summer scholarship for students called the Triton Summer Scholarship. Students must be continuing students and may be eligible for up to $1000 if they are enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. If the student is eligible, the scholarship will be added after other financial aid that a student receives.
  3. Department-specific: Some academic departments award their own scholarships. Students should contact their department to inquire about scholarship opportunities for their major, because an additional application may be required for these scholarships.
