Campus and Accommodation
Western University is a well-known institution that has a vibrant campus life spanning 481.2 hectares. Campus architecture ranges from Gothic-style structures to modern structures. The Don Wright Faculty of Music’s performance facility, UCC’s auditorium, and theatre McKellar Room, and art exhibits at the McIntosh Gallery or the ArtLab Gallery are just a few of the notable venues on campus.
Western has a long history of athletics, recreation, and wellness; the Campus Recreation Center offers aquatics, dance, and workshops, and the Western Mustangs have a long tradition of bringing medals and trophies back to campus. Entrance Scholarships for International Students:
Western University offers a variety of admission scholarships accessible only to international students who are beginning full-time, first-year studies at Western’s main campus, much as it does for domestic students. A complete admission application submitted through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) and all accompanying paperwork must be received by Western by March 1st to be considered for our pool of entrance scholarships for overseas students.
The recipients of these international student entrance grants will be chosen from among those who have completed the admission application procedure by the March 1st deadline so that they can be notified before arrival at Western. Please keep in mind that these international student entrance scholarships can be used in conjunction with or in substitution of an existing Admission Scholarship.
