Campus and accommodation

The university has 2 campus locations:

  1. The Bad Honnef Campus: It is located in the town of Bad Honnef, outside of Bonn and Cologne in west Germany. The town is surrounded by nature and has a very cozy feel
  2. The Berlin Campus: Is located in the capital of Germany, Berlin, and has a large and modern campus. Berlin city is a great place for student life

Housing is available on the Bad Honnef campus of IUBH. There are 6 residence halls with common kitchens and bathrooms. Additionally, there is a TV, parking, WIFI, and a laundry room. The monthly rent for a three-person apartment is from 400 to 460 Euros, while a two-person apartment costs 460 Euros. This includes other expenditures such as power, heating, and water. There is no accommodation for students staying at the Berlin campus. They can take the assistance of the Study Advisory Team to find accommodation in one of the multiple residences available in the city.

Admission requirements for international students

There are no deadlines to apply for any of the courses offered by the university. Students can apply by filling out an online application form, selecting the desired course and campus (for on-campus studies), and submitting it. IU reviews the application within 72 hours.

The annual cost of attendance for online courses is equal to tuition fees which can range from 2,744 to 4,661 Euros/year for bachelor’s courses depending on the mode of study. Similarly for master’s courses offered online the cost of attendance is 4,027 to 9,787 Euros/year. For on-campus courses, students have to consider the cost of living in their budget. On average it costs approximately 10,404 to 10.911 Euros/year to live in Germany.

Career Prospects for IU Graduates/International Students

All the programs offered by IU are state-approved and accredited. IU degrees are recognized by WES Canada and U.S. Hence, job prospects are good. The university has ties with major companies like Microsoft, TUI Group, Capgemini, BMW Group, etc. IU conducts annual career fairs on both the campus offices in Berlin and Bad-Honnef. IUBH provides 200+ Bachelor’s, Master’s, and MBA programs through both online and on-campus modes. Some of the most popular courses are B. A Civil Aviation, BSc Software development, MBA International Business. Since the University is 100% online, all courses are offered in English.

An applicant must have completed high school and submit the transcripts of the same. For English proficiency, a minimum of 6.0 in IELTS or 80 in TOEFL iBT is required. Some courses may require the studying of specific subjects in high school
