WUAS offers its degree programs in English. English-taught programs are available from undergraduate onwards. The university also offers graduate/master’s, and non-degree programs in English.

The programs are primarily focused on Business Management. After completion of the 3-years undergraduate degree program, students can choose their master’s degree in their desired major which is a 2-years program taught in English.

In addition to these, WUAS also provides its students with a number of facilities such as on-campus housing with well-equipped living facilities and an open kitchen available to all. Campus and accommodation

Located in one of the safest cities in the world, Apeldoorn city with a population of 100,000 people, the campus gives exposure to Dutch culture, history, people and nature.

WUAS has one of the largest campuses in the Netherlands. Public transit takes only 10-15 minutes to the city’s historical and business core, 10 minutes to the railway station, and 30-45 minutes to the airport (bus, tram, trolleybus).

Academic buildings, student dorms and hostels, canteens, student clinics, stadiums, and other sports facilities, as well as stores, banks, and post offices, are all included. The campus security service protects students and employees.

WUAS has in-campus housing facilities for local and international students. Depending on the preferences, the price ranges from 850 to 950 USD/month (10,200-11,400 USD/year). Each housing unit has a strong student community.

Scholarships for international students 

Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences offers a number of scholarships to both European and International Students.

Holland Scholarship

Under ‘Holland Scholarship,’ 20 students are offered an award of €5,000 or approximately $5,440 USD annually. (1 EUR = 1.09 USD). The scholarship is available to students wishing to apply for either the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program or Master of Science – Business Management Programmes at Wittenborg.

The amount of scholarship is awarded as a fee reduction for the first year of BBA and whole tuition fees for MSc. International students from all countries are eligible to apply.

  • IELTS or TOEFL requirement: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL  90

Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences Fund

Awardees of the Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences Fund are expected to participate in projects that help professionalize Wittenborg. They will also be expected to become a student representative and a buddy of new students.

This scholarship fund is available for students:

  • Wittenborg Gold Fund/Scholarship of €1665 (fee reduction)
  • Wittenborg Silver Fund/Scholarship of €1110 (fee reduction)
  • Wittenborg Bronze Fund/Scholarship of €555 (fee reduction)
  • Wittenborg Graduate Fund: reduction of €3330 on tuition fee for one of the MBM Master of Science programs, or the Wittenborg MBA programs (Master program fee reduction for Wittenborg Bachelor Graduates)

Scholarship requirements, in addition to normal admission requirements:

  • Excellent international students with meritorious record (non-EU/EEA)
  • Enrolment in the Wittenborg degree program taught in English.
  • A minimum score of IELTS 6.5 is required if the student is not from a country where English is the only official language.
  • Excellent grade results in previous education (average of “8”, or 80%) 
  • At least 2 recommendation letters by the student’s employer or teacher/lecturer supporting the eligibility of receiving the scholarship.

Family Support Scholarship

The Family Support Scholarship was started as a celebration of diversity and international family life and is awarded to brothers and sisters who wish to study together.

This scholarship fund is available for students:

  • Students from all nationalities are eligible to apply.
  • The scholarship is awarded based on academic and background (economic needs) considerations.
  • The FSS Scholarship covers 15% of the tuition fees for the bachelor’s degree during all the academic years in which the siblings coincide in their enrolled time at Wittenborg.

Tech Women MBA Scholarship

The scholarship is cohesively offered to women for improving diversity in the technology industry and female representation in managerial roles.

The scholarship offers

  • Covers a partial tuition fee waiver for the 1.5-year duration of the MBA program
  • A reduction of 5000 EUR (5,442) USD in the tuition fees for an MBA in Data Analytics or MBA in Digital Transformation.

The scholarships cover a partial tuition fee waiver for the 1.5-year duration of the MBA program. 

Through the Stichting Debbie Foundation, established in the loving memory of Chinese student Debbie Kuang, ten Scholarships each of 5000 EUR (5550.40 USD) are awarded for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in all specializations, every year.

No admissions tests are required to be taken for any of the undergraduate or graduate programs at WUAS. However, applications are accepted based on the satisfactory fulfillment of admission criteria. Each year, WUAS has six admissions. Non-EU international students must apply 6-8 weeks before their desired entry date.

Yes, all the students will get housing facilities, fully-equipped with all their necessities. Housing facilities are available on both campuses of WUAS at Apeldoorn and Amsterdam. 

Students at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences are extended academic and non-academic support. As a member of WUAS, you can expect to receive a personal tutor to plan and guide academic sessions and address any issues. IELTS/TOEFL certificate can be used to provide English proficiency for international students to be admitted to WUAS university: For entry into Bachelor’s program, students should achieve a minimum score of 6.0 for IELTS or an equivalent for TOEFL. Master’s programs need an IELTS score of overall 6.5 with a minimum score of 6 for the writing component.
