Palacký University Olomouc or Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci (UP) is a public university and the second oldest university in the Czech Republic. It is one of the most important Central European centers of education and research. The university also provides exchange programs and lifelong learning programs. Palacký University Olomouc is one of the very top universities to study in Czech Republic, and ranks among the best universities in the world, according to international rankings. Also, it is one of the largest employers in the Olomouc Region and the City of Olomouc.

In 2020, the student population was 21,824, with 840 accredited study programs at eight faculties. These eight faculties offered 840 Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral study programs. The University offers a 5-year program in Dentistry as well as a 6-year program in Medicine with English as the language of instruction. Campus and Accommodation

Olomouc houses 23,000 students from all over the world. The international students seeking accommodation at the university shall approach the International Relations Office of Palacký University (IRO).
