Pre-master’s for Cyber Security
SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences offers a Pre-Masters for its Cyber Security program. Students who do not meet the admission requirements for the university’s M.Sc. Computer Science (Cyber Security) course can consider the pre-masters.
The pre-masters program aims to achieve two objectives.

Admission requirements for Masters in Cyber Security Germany
IU International University of Applied Sciences
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, IT security, Business Informatics, Theoretical Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Media Informatics or an information science related subjects
- Degree must be from a public or officially recognized university/higher education institution.
- At least a ‘satisfactory’ or Grade C equivalent in your previous education.
- English Language proficiency level of TOEFL (min. 80 points) or IELTS (min. Level 6.0 out of 9 points)
The university requires students to have a minimum of 30 ECTS in the Computer Science course of the undergraduate degree. In case students do not have a computer science course, modules from the university’s undergraduate programs can be considered bridging courses for free.
The university also requires two additional courses-Advanced Statistics and Advanced Mathematics. These two courses must have been a part of students’ past education. Alternatively, knowledge in these two courses can also be proven through relevant work experience. Students can also take the courses “Advanced Statistics” and “Advanced Mathematics” for free from the university.
